Who runs this site
FigureWright (figurewright.com) is operated by Kevin Soieva, a sole proprietor (FIE) registered in Estonia, registry code 17596451 (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of any personal data described in this policy. Questions about privacy: hello@figurewright.com.
The short version
- You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your name or email to use the calculators.
- Calculations run in your browser. The measurements and prices you enter are not sent to us.
- The site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising.
Information stored on your device
The site remembers whether you prefer imperial or metric units using your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. The site does not set cookies.
Information processed by our hosting provider
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives standard technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It processes this to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse, under its own privacy policy. We do not use this information to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you email us
If you write to hello@figurewright.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. Mail to that address is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). We use your message only to reply and to follow up on what you asked. We keep correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose, and no longer than 12 months unless it relates to an ongoing matter. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. They rely on safeguards recognised under EU law for such transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or provide it to you in a portable format. Email hello@figurewright.com and we will respond within one month. We do not make automated decisions or build profiles about visitors.
You also have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Children
The site is intended for adults planning home projects and is not directed at children.

If we change how the site handles information, for example by adding analytics or advertising, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
